I am thrilled take part in this year’s 2018 YMCA-YWCA Guelph Women of Distinction. Wandering Wellington County will be sharing some of the amazing stories of these remarkable women who work, play and live in our community. “It takes a Village”, will be this years theme which launched at last years October, Guelph Y Power of Being a Girl Conference.
We will be celebrating the stories of these amazing women in our community and the many impacts they have made in our Guelph and Wellington community. There are 8 different categories which will represent the 20 remarkable role models.

- Entrepreneurship & Innovation
- Health, Wellness & Fitness
- Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM)
- Trades & Labour
- Young Women of Distinction (16 to 21 years)
This years Fundraising Women Of Distinction Gala will take place on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the River Run Centre in Guelph. Marissa Teeter, is the honorary chair and is excited to support the many great programs the fundraising gala will contribute to the community.
